About The Brethren

In January 2006, a Chicago native, Mr. Cedric Nunley had the vision of  forming a group of Christian young men in “an all gospel, all anointed, all male ensemble” called “The Brethren”.  Being a noted gospel singer, songwriter, choral director and worship leader, Cedric prayerfully selected 11 powerful singers to join him making the vision a reality.  One main purpose for this group is to promote unity and brotherly love among all mankind through music ministry.

 These gentlemen possess a wealth of talent, vitality and skill that is exemplified when they sing with professionalism and fervor.  The Brethren’s “uniquely unborn” sound is like no other male singing group that has ever been experienced.

 Although newly organized this group has shared the spotlight and screen with some of gospel music’s finest like:   Reverend Maceo Woods’ Christian Tabernacle Concert Choir, Reverend Jesse Dixon, Elder DeAndre Patterson, William Smith Jr. and the Renewed Voices for Christ and a myriad of others.
